The Mexican Peso is far from the only currency affected by this. Any currency that was added later can't be used to buy it anymore, since Sandlot Games closed its doors long ago and handed its assets over to companies who don't care about their lineup in any way. This collection was added to Steam at a time when much fewer currencies were supported. For example, just a year or two ago, Steam added the Australian Dollar, resulting in tons of Australians complaining about all the games they were rendered unable to buy until their publishers got around to setting a price. Whenever they add a new one, all countries that use it will be unable to buy old games until their publishers set a new price for them.
Steam requires publishers to manually set their games' prices for each any every currency.
